Picking up from the front page article, is it an outlier or a concern. I think it's mostly an outlier.

As mentioned in the article, the live ball turnovers produced some very easy points for SC. We had 16 turnovers for the game. That, IMO, is an outlier. Gave them some run-outs and extra possessions.

We also had two mismatches that hurt us. Silva was too quick for Teske, although Jon adjusted in the second half and we doubled at times. Silva was first team All SEC last season. Iggy was also abused by their bigger 4s, who posted him up or backed him in to the basket. That's a concern when we play a team like Iowa with Cook at the 4. Iggy will have to learn post defense, and the guards/wings may have to drop down to harass the 4. Our rotations will have to be better than against SC.

The next issue was Bryant, #24, going down hill and getting to the hoop in the second half. More easy 2 pointers. I think that Matthews lost his aggressiveness with 3 fouls, and our help side was slow to react.

SC was 5-11 on threes, well above their average.

Coaches will have lots of film to share. If we don't smother the next three opponents, I'll be surprised and disappointed. Gotta get our focus back for B1G play.
