if the Colts don't make the playoffs ... have heard that if he decides not to pursue another NFL job, at least for a year, that he has an offer from Harbaugh to come hang out in Ann Arbor as a defensive consultant and that he might just take Jim up on it.
Have also heard that Harbaugh is giddy about Don Brown. Brown apparently reminds him a lot of the coaching role models he grew up with, old-school, great X's and O's, just lives and breathes the game. Jim really like DJ Durkin but there's something about having a veteran defensive coordinator that just really appeals to him.
Also, post bowl game I will have an ITF about the the guys that could return for a fifth year. Have heard more than Terry Richardson, Blake Bars and Allen Gant will not be invited back.
