She should sell the team to a buyer who is dedicated to bringing good competitive football to the fans. I thought a couple years ago with the players they were bringing in and the dismissal of Schwartz that the Lions were FINALLY ready to go. They could have hired ANYONE and they hired Jim Caldwell. I don't give a damn about him coaching Peyton Manning which is bullshit anyways. As a head coach, Caldwell has had a couple of good seasons throughout his career. Other than that, he has been average to basically suck as a pro HC. They blew it with that hire. Now, they have to basically start from scratch once again.

The Fords don't know how to run a professional football franchise. Even back in the 60's when it was a lot easier they weren't good at it. Now when it's really, really hard they are even worse.
It isn't even about the money they make off owning the team. They own the team for pennies on the dollar. Even if they lose gazillions each year it doesn't dent their net worth. They don't own the team for money or for glory (why else would you own one?). They own the team for simple ego. They are an oblivious, condescending family with wealth none of them earned...only inherited. Even the Ford Motor Company has thrived (if you can say that) in spite of them not because of them. Simply dreadful.

I wish they would sell the team. I wish they would just go away. The Detroit Lions are silly. They aren't watchable. I am embarrassed to say I even care about the team.

Can I ask what makes this any different then all of the other times people have come & gone??? The results continue too be the same with one constant...... The Fords.... Good Luck With This & Lions Fans Are A Gluten For Punishment!!!!!
