Great to send off the Seminoles tonight. The game brought back some memories though of a team they had when we weren’t very good. I really liked watching them. Anyone remember...
• Douglas Edwards - maybe 6’9 who could shoot, handle, and score inside? One of FSU’s first big time Bball recruit out of Miami I believe . So fun to watch
• Sam Cassell
- funny looking guy but that guy could play. I think he came out of Baltimore area? Long career in NBA, obviously
• Rodney Dobard- 6’10 freak who might miss a shot from a ladder but man he could dunk - a al Dominque on put back dunks. he could get his arm pit to rim level
• Bob Sura - 6’4 guard from PA who could dunk and dish ... a white kid with some real flair. How did he end up in Tallahassee? Maybe an earlier version of Jason Williams out of WV?
• they had a stretch big Latino kid that was also a player but cannot remember his name. Spent some time in the association as well I think.
• I could google all this stuff up but that’s not what sport memories are made of, right?
