DM sits the bench until BP graduates barring injury. Calm down, boys....BP will be asked to be a “game manager” down the stretch.....just like Sp8 and JOK were asked before him. The difference is BP actually has the skill set to make these plays.
Will he have head scratching plays the rest of the year? Of course he will....., but in watching the film from the Rutgers game, this kid is a “natural” QB..... he has God given skills that none of the QB’s (including DM) on the roster possess.
As far as the “intangibles”, we had another QB that played for us that has an awkward, quirky personality that is sometimes off-putting and he has done okay for himself.
I’m telling u guys.....despite all of the rhetoric about this kid...... he is going to be special...His quirky (some have suggested an I don’t give a shit attitude) is going to pay him dividends.
On the low end, he will be all-conference before he leaves......
Exciting times ahead, Gents. Next year we are the talk of college football..... think ND this year.
Can’t wait for Saturday to watch this kid slowly, but surely come in to his own.
For me, watching him develop has saved this season.....
