You can't settle for field goals when you have the ball and a first down at the 10 or 12 yard line.

If they put the ball in the end zone then it is a 21-17 game after three and the Higdon rush makes it a 28-17 final, which is close to the spread.

The offensive and defensive numbers weren't that bad.

376 yards on 66 plays for the offense is not bad.

202 yards on 63 plays for the defense is excellent. Once you add in the penalties the defensive performance becomes pretty good instead.

Punch the ball in the red zone and this win looks ok.
