The OSU game, while bad, was not nearly as debilitating to the program as so many people here claimed that it would be, because while it WAS a factor in a long list of reasons that Zach Harrison committed to Ohio State, it did NOT affect any of the other big time recruits that still signed here, like Daxton Hill, Zac Charbonnet and Trevor Keegan.
This was the point I was trying to make in the other thread but that clearly didn't work the way I worded it. Just ended up being a lot of firebombing, insults and "you're wrong" from most people......even though at least 10 appeared to understand what I meant.
No, I wasn't calling Balas or any of the reporting about Harrison a lie, that's stupid. I know the game affected him, but it was still just a catalyst in a long list of considerations the kid had about where he was going. That being said, the game clearly wasn't the stain on the program that so many people here claimed it was. THAT is ALL my point ever was and continues to be.
Ok?
