The article posted in that thread adds fuel to my proposition that the nutcases among PSU fans that believe there's some grand conspiracy against them by Delaney's office get their lead from Penn State's program. For Joe Pa to complain about penalties called in that 20-0 ass-kicking we gave PSU in 2001 is laughable.

(although ... I don't mind most people. I have pretty high tolerance levels )

MCE was NOT a "Paterno Loyalist", that is for sure. The arguments re: Paterno and his role in the Sandusky affair is why he ultimately left the board (left in 2012 and hasn't been seen since).

I do think MCE was treated unfairly at the end --- he had a LITERAL WAR with Anthony Lubrano in that summer. Typical classless behavior from Anthony Lubrano, who was posting MCE's personal information on-line. I find folk like Lubrano 1000000x worse than folk like MCE. MCE is/was just some anonymous dude on a message board. Lubrano actually has some real-life power.

By "Board" I meant "Board of Trustees."

BWI, Mgoblog, Buckeyeplanet, et cetera. All populated by folk with varying degrees of "internet muscles." When I go to actual games and interact with actual people and have actual conversations --- I never encounter those folk. These internet message boards are NOTHING like real life.

I've been to 20+ Penn State games outside of State College since November 2011, and only once encountered one fan who made a Sandusky comment. Anecdotes like that make me feel qualified to make my above statement.

If you ever went to an actual game at Penn State, I'm sure you'd have a delightful time and have a significantly different view of my school's fanbase.

Or another poster knew Marsh somehow and gave his info to Lubrano.
