I have a ton of respect for this program and John Beilein. But, I was expecting this to be a rebuilding year for John Beilein.
I thought that He brought in his best recruiting class but we just lost too much talent to be a top team again.
Losing Mo and MAAR and Duncan was losing a lot just too much.
Then as I'm watching the games my brain is not allowing me to accept what's happening...what I`m seeing.
Crushed Villanova ..... "hmmm...Fluke? We look good but Maybe Nova just lost all their good players"
Crushed North Carolina....Wow...Wait a minute, this team is playing above their talent level. Are we just playing hot at home? Did NC just come in flat? IGGY!
Crushed Purdue... OK Wow... This Michigan team is ridiculous. Every single player is playing at a higher level offensively: Teske, Poole, Matthews, Brooks. Iggy is a beast. The smothering cohesive team defense is a thing of beauty. Simpson is a great leader.
My eyes tell me that right now this team is BETTER than the team that played in the national championship game.TODAY.
I believe this team can compete with any team in the country now TODAY, and we're only going to get better.
