Source: OSU offered Meyer a buyout and Meyer Legal team called their bluff and is all in on Meyer’s reputation threatening long legal battle; source says the committee believes backing down to Meyer will blow over faster than years worth of court battles and Meyer will be announced reinstated for time served. Reason for law firm budget adjustment is for retainer if they decide to pursue termination.

Bucknuts should do the right thing and axe the jerk, Penn State did when they canned Paterno. He was dirty and so is Meyer. But OSU probably won't.

There is far too much hearsay involving this topic. I just don't see him being let go. If there is enough evidence to prove wrongdoing i'm sure OSU will be in the clear to fire him.

When did Gene Smith ever do the right thing. I doubt Meyer will be let go regardless of his cheating and untruthfulness !
