We woke up to a team that just finished the season as the BIG regular season champs, a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, the #1 recruiting class for next year, our 4th Elite 8 appearance since 2013 (and I know how bad we looked last night), one of the best bigs in the country coming back to join the #1 recruiting class (most likely), the COY, tremendous kids representing the university and UM will probably send a player or 2 to the NBA again......and a lot of fans are upset. Can't wait for 2021-2022. Big stages can produce big heartbreak. Tough, ugly loss, but what a time to be a UM Basketball fan. In the long run, a loss like this could help Howard and our young players grow. A lot to learn from this season and the NCAA Tournament. Really enjoyed watching this team all year and it was much needed during the winter months of a pandemic. Go Blue, forever. On to 2021-2022.
Oh how far our basketball program has come.....
