Cinci blatantly interfered with our DBs on "rub" routes with no call. Didn't even attempt to make it look like they were running a route. Indiana did the same yesterday. MSU got a guy wide open on a play that what dropped doing this.
My point is not to complain that other teams are getting away with it. My point is this is clearly not being emphasized in college football. Our offense is terrible. Can we please start doing this a couple times a game? It further confuses me because we were doing this the last two years.
One last thing. MSU did this against us in 2015 as well. Both then and last week they ran the "rub" on their sideline. In my opinion that is excellent coaching as if you do it on the opponent sideline their coaches will bully the officials into the call.
Just a thought that was bugging me on something simple we can do to get an extra first down or two a game given our offensive struggles. And also please bring back the jet sweep.
