I haven’t watched the entire game for this, but thru the first 7 or 8 minutes, I think we had one possession with more than 2 passes on offense. It seems like the ball is getting stuck more and more on offense over the last few games. I’d love to see more kick outs from our big men when they get it in the post. HD started doing that more and it usually resulted in better opportunities. When the opposing team doubles Hunter down low and he kicks it outside, that’s when we start moving the ball to open shooters. Even the 3’s we made last night were not really great looks. Franz made 3 bombs, Livers made one with a defender right on him. Brooks’ 3 early came off of the dribble. Brown isn’t getting those open looks on the wings much. I suppose some of this is that we are being scouted better. I’d love to see more ball movement and I’d love to see us stop trying to pass from really bad angles. Those turnovers are going to cost us against good teams and they’ll cost us when we’re struggling to score. I’m sure they guys are tired (not wheelchair tired), and I think the break from Sunday to our first BTT game will be very helpful. Hopefully we look fresher and crisper on offense.
