...during the Harbaugh era. The two years we came in playing well (2015 and 2018) we got blown out. The two years we came in injured, or playing badly, (2016,2017) we led or were within one point in the 4th quarter.

In 2015, we had won 4 straight and Rudock had averaged about 300 yards passing in those 4 games. We lost 42-13.

In 2016, we had lost to Iowa, losing Speight to injury, and barely beat Indiana with O'Korn at the helm. We lost 30-27 at OSU in 2 OTs.

In 2017, we lost to Wisconsin the game before the OSU game, and got Peters, the starting QB, injured. Despite O'Korn consistently missing big plays, the score was 21-20 OSU going into the 4th quarter.

What does it all mean? I don't know.

My uninformed opinion thinks that an angry and emotionally injured OSU is much more dangerous that a confident one in this rivalry. In 2015, they were coming off of a loss to MSU, and we know that this season, for the first time in more than a decade, they weren't favored to win...at home.

Dangerous.
