Defensively:
1 The interior D line is once again our biggest weakness. Hinton, Welschoff, and Mazi play too high and often get blown off the ball. Mazi was on skates on nearly every play he was in there.
2 Watch their first running play. I formation both back and line all moving to McGrones right. Not sure where his eyes or head was but he was brutally slow to react and was late to fill. Didn’t help that our DBs weren’t shedding blocks. But damn he was slow to react all night and was taking bad reads / steps all night long.
3. Ross was no better. He continually blew passing assignments in the flat and made some terrible reads.Really questioning some basic fundamentals of where their eyes are and recognizing things like jet sweeps.
4. DBs continue to show poor technique. DJ was in good position on a long pass and rather than place the back of his hand on the belly button and sweep through the wr hands, he wrapped his arms around him. Sloppy and cost a 1stdown.

can’t believe this is a JH coached team. Lacking fundamentals, lacking toughness, and no self pride.
