1) Obviously the team was flat. As others have said-the lack of a crowd really hurt this team.
2)the offense substitutions are off the charts. It creates confusion which is exacerbated when they try to run tempo
3)I have always heard by coaches that owning the middle of the field is imperative. Right now, our center/guards and nose tackles aren't owning anything. a push up the middle by either side is a game plan wrecker and we're severing lacking on both sides of that coin.
4)Corum and Haskins should be 1 and 2. Let them get a feel for the game-I cannot figure out the substitutions (see #2)
5) Henning is a difference maker and looks fast live. Needs to be more involved.,
6) Nico Collins absence cannot be underestimated. Speed isn't everything and not having that prototypical guy on the outside changes everything. Our receivers look underdeveloped and young, which they are.
7) I suppose the silver lining is that our best players on this offense are really young.
8) Milton's happy feet created bad technique and some of his throws were either gunned or thrown into the ground tt because of that technique. He's got to get his feet set. I still think he's our guy. At one point, Cade was warming up on the sideline and I truly thought he was going to go in.
9) I don't remember many (or any) shots to the tight ends down the field on seam routes. With the lack of an outside threat-they have to do this.
10) Side note: the entire town is a ghost town and it's so strange to witness. All around just a sad day.
