Little can be gleaned from this game but some are hinge were noticeable.

Tesk e is a legit 3 pt threat from the top of the key.

Poole is getting better with ball handling, passing and defense. He will be our leading scorer.

John's will pass Davis on the depth chart behind Teske by January. Davis looks slow and is still foul prone.

Iggy is a talent and will play a lot, but is one dimensional. No matter where he gets the ball his first instinct is to drive to the hoop. He will get called for a lot of offensive fouls.

Livers is too talented to merely rotate with Iggy. They need to find a way to play both at the same time. Livers is great on fast breaks and alley-oops.

this offense will be different. Less outside shooting, more people driving to the basket.

rebounding was poor despite a big height advantage

there is enough talent to run a 9 to 10 man rotation for most games

our big guys will suffer from foul trouble in a lot of games.

The team may have trouble against full court press. Very few of those playing 3, 4 and 5 spots handle the ball well enough to bring it up the court.

Expect some disappointing games in November and December, but a much better team by January.

my dark horse pick among the freshman is Johns. Iggy will play more and rack up better stats. But I think Johns will become the #2 guy in the middle by midseason and did to foul trouble by others play a significant role.
