We have not seen a lot of players due to injury but some things are pretty obvious and today completely reinforced it:
  1. Ross is pretty terrible as a Viper/LB. He is slow, has no change of direction and keeps either overplaying or isn't anywhere near the play.
  2. Kemp has no idea how to fight off a block - he never seems to be anywhere close to the QBs.
  3. Eubanks is a terrible blocker - he seems to block on the wrong side or the wrong direction constantly. Super talented, but can't block to save his life.
  4. Mason seems lost in this offense - I don't really see him making the right plays that open things up for our RBs.
  5. Nordin/Moody = awful. We should just go for every 4th down moving forward - we should just ask a soccer walk-on to kick for us instead.
  6. Milton has a long way to go before he can learn how to operate with feel, presence and touch - he is not close to it especially with the way Cade is performing.
  7. Evans, while not playing much is a fantastic pass catcher for a RB. I would love to see us use him a bit more here.
  8. Giles Jackson makes some very questionable decisions on punt returns. He calls fair catch on balls he should just let bounce. He falls fair catch during times when he has room to run and vice versa. He scares me on punt returns!
  9. WRs and DBs don't seem to understand the concept of catching the ball at it's peak - they seem to wait until the ball is on it's way down to make catches. CJ did nicely today though overall.
My 2 cents.
