Charbonnet's team Oaks Christian got clobbered by St. John Bosco 56-10, but Zach Charbonnet showed well. Game was 7-0 Bosco, when Charbonnet broke a 61 yard TD to tie it.
Next possession, Charbonnet intercepted Bosco QB DJ Uiagalelei (one of best players in 2020) and returned it 50 yards, but then they failed to convert. Bosco took over from there, but a fine effort from Charbonnet. Man is he good....in judging film based on both performance and competition, I don't think I remember a better film from any RB recruit whose come to Michigan. I can't wait for the Charbonnet era to begin.
Oaks Christian other star, Kayvon Thibodeaux, didn't play was ejected for a personal foul in the previous game. He wasn't even allowed to attend this one. Seems like he needs some tutelage from a good coach and mentor like Jim Harbaugh...maybe Zach can help save him and bring him to Michigan
