HAAAAAA!!!! There were some huge threads calling out Harbaugh for cheating (yes, they repeatedly used that word) when the IMG camp was announced.

So yesterday Dantonio says he thinks it's a great idea and now they are looking into it.

Well, what do you know? MSU fans suddenly think it's a swell idea, too! This is Little Brother behavior at its finest, folks. HA!!!

Interesting. Didn't see that.
College Sports on Sirius/XM Radio was discussing this this morning on my drive into work.
This visit to IMG is during a dead period when college coaches are not allowed to contact HS recruits.
However, nothing says college coaches can't contact HS coaches. So while UM is at IMG I would think UM coaches will be "sharing" all sorts of ideas and drills and techniques, etc. with IMG coaches...and probably will leave some nice UM gear, T's, maybe some videos of practice protocols...all of which with Block Ms all over them...for IMG coaches to review and "share" with their FB players.
It is a great idea. I give kudos for JH doing it. I suspect, as the Sirius guys stated, this will end quickly. One off and next year it will be onto something else. This is more about the SEC coaches getting their noses out of joint. It also hurts the second tier, power 5 programs who don't have the resources to take their squads on Spring Break. Hurts Illinois and Purdue and Rutgers tons more than it hurts OSU or MSU.

Except Mike's spring break will be a limp noodle affair

It is creative and it is for recruiting and it is for selling your program. Major League Baseball hold spring practice in Florida. Why not college football programs? Go to where the warm weather is when it is cold where you are in the spring. Go to California, or to Texas. I wonder if the SEC would be whining if we held spring practice in New Mexico!! I doubt it. I hope MSU and all teams up north go south and west now for spring practice. The SEC is welcome to hold practice in downtown Detroit during the spring. Cass Tech high school field would be great for them and the local area would welcome them with open arms

I really can't imagine it hurts any mid or low tier B1G school. Maybe it results in OSU losing a big recruit to UM because of the event, but Purdue and Illinois shouldn't lose sleep over this, but I could be wrong.
