Some names I haven't seen get much mention but have been told they are looking really good early on in camp are:
DL Deron Irving-Bey has been surprisingly impressive. Very Raw but his arm length and motor have raised eye brows. He has made some plays. His future appears bright.
DE Kwity Paye- A few days into camp Kwity was really impressive and I was told he will play as he had looked better than Luiji because of how quick off the ball he was. Since then he has come back down a bit but his potential is something guys are really excited about. He and Luiji may play this year but at this point they are just trying to adjust to the speed and physicality like the majority of all freshmen. Regardless, bright future ahead.
LB Josh Ross- I'm told he's ahead of all the other freshmen linebackers at this point. Has made plays. I think he plays special teams this year at a minimum and will be a thumper.
OL Chuck Filiaga- Man Hands may have found his spot at OG. Will be interesting to see if he cracks the 2-deep. He's a big boy who can move and has been impressive thus far. Another bright future guy.
S J'marick Woods- I've seen his name mentioned a few times, but he is another guy who they like. Physically imposing already... big time potential.
RS Freshman RB Kareem Walker- I'm told he has been coming on of late and his future also appears bright whether it's this year or next.
Again... just a few names I hadn't seen much on that are guys who will be players here one day based on early impressions thus far!
