Most of the defensive belly aching has been directed at the defensive backfield, especially the cornerback play (and rightfully so) .. but to me our pass rush has been just as terrible and quite frankly more disappointing.
I expected our inexperienced corners to struggle, but we should have been loaded up with two "All-Americans" at DE .. it simply isnt happening. We have generated zero pressure in the last two games .... so now we are asking the corners to cover for 5-6-7 seconds which is impossible for anyone to do let alone the guys we have.
I know he left yesterday banged up, but through 3 games Aidan Hutchinson has zero sacks and zero tackles for loss. ZERO. Practice BS reports were saying he was an animal and dominant. That hasn't shown at all. Kwity Paye has made a few nice TFL against the run, but save for one drive in the opener with back-to-back sacks he has none.
