1) waiting around all day to play isn't an ideal situation for the players or the fans attending the games. Bo was right when he said that TV and money would be the downfall of the college game.
2) The college football viewing experience on Saturday is getting worse. Now all the top games are played in "prime-time" Anytime before 3:30 is basically a dead-zone with nothing but snoozer games. Some Saturdays last year there wasn't one interesting game on before 7pm. big-time college football is becoming mostly a night time affair with the top games jammed into a 3 or 4 hour time slot at night.
