Field hockey actually wrapped up a Big Ten title yesterday, but punctuated that by winning again today to sweep the two game series with Maryland. Currently, #5 in the country.
Men’s tennis destroys MSU 7-0 and stays tied for first in the Big Ten. A rout was expected, as MSU is really bad, but Michigan didn’t even lose a set in the demolition.
And the big win of the day, the womens tennis team upsets #7 Northwestern 4-3. Second time this year they’ve “upset” the wildcats. The 3 freshmen continue to pave the way. Miller, Brown and Gala all win along with senior chiara lommer getting the other win. Gala got the clinching point and still hasn’t lost all year.
Next weekend, women’s gymnastics tries to get Plocki her first national championship in an over 30 year career as the head coach.
