For some reason, a naive and hopeful part of me thought the NFL saluted the troops in the fall because of a heartfelt appreciation for the sacrifices and lives it took to make and keep this country free. But of course, big money is the real reason why the NFL is showing its love for our military.
I don't know why I expected any different.
