NFL Draft selections

Generally I don't follow the draft, because well, I'm not an NFL guy. But I want our guys rewarded at the next level. Having said that I have three observations:

- Rudock: He busted his ass and got drafted. A great kid and couldn't be happier for him.
- OSU: Impressive showing - I don't care how much of a rival they are or how much we hate Meyer. Wow.
- Connor Cook: bwahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!! So much awesome watching sparty meltdown on every board on the planet.

Wasn't Cook supposed to be the best QB ever? A sure 1st rounder?
O-38 didn't look very good on the resume, I assume.

ND had an impressive showing as well. OSU recruited really well the past 4-5 years so amazing but expected to a certain degree...Meyer can develop players, no question about that. ND was equally as impressive. Over the past 4-5 years they recruited at the same level as Michigan under Hoke but we have nothing to show for and they do. The ND draftees were a classic case of how bad Hoke was at developing players.

Could you imagine what Gardner could have done had he had JH as a coach? That kid was pure raw talent but nobody every coached him. It's a shame. BTW, next year I believe that Lewis & Wormley will get drafted alongside Butt & Peppers. I bet that neither Lewis or Wormley would have been a Top 4 round pick if Hoke was still the coach. Glad he is gone!

I'm glad for the guys that got drafted. Especially Ruddock, cause that dude busted his ass. Also glad to see Siona Houma picked up by the Saints.

Also, did Iowa have anyone drafted? Cause I couldve swore I heard they had 0 taken in the draft on The Herd yesterday.

Iowa did have a draft choice. Streak goes back 40 years, if I recall.

QB C.J. Beathard and CB Desmond King are back for 2016.

Michigan @ Iowa has been good series, since 1981, when Fry began battling Bo.
