There is a whole lot of "behind the scenes" work going on in the Big 12. In case you missed it last week, Kansas will be spending $300 million on football renovations! That's $108 million more than Texas A&M's entire athletic revenue. The Kansas Athletic Director, Sheahon Zenger stated "that he will be prepared for the demise of the BIG XII."
Tom Osborne also spoke last week on the record. He stated that "Nebraska has a lot of friends" in the BIG XII that are Regent schools and he specifically named Kansas.
Nobody is surprised about all the David Boren and Oklahoma talk, but Kansas made a major statement last week with a significant football investment. That's coming from a team that has exactly one win over a FBS school in two years!
