If we renew football with ND, they won't be the season opener. I'd imagine we'd be playing them two or three games into the season like we always have.
I always thought we played some cupcake directional school as the first game and ND was the second or even third game of the season.

Opening weekend (Labor Day weekend) scheduling seems to be trending one of 2 ways: (a) cupcake at home, or (b) neutral-site game at an NFL Stadium (an event fans can travel to) vs. another powerful school. U-M/ND, when the series recommences, I bet it's in Week 2 or Week 3.
