Do refs normally have another job (off season) or are they employed by the NCAA for the entire year?
The reason I ask it seems the level in reffing for both sports has declined over the last few years and the amount of money both sports brings in for the NCAA, you would think they could either, A. pay for better officials or B. employ them all year long and have their butts training, watching film, going to meetings, etc.. 40 hours a week.
Just saying!
