I am not an expert on game planning or strategy in Basketball (Football I'm far more fluent)
College offense and defensive strategies seem more complex and interesting than the NBA
When I look at NBA game planning it looks very simple.
Fast Break, Dish to the 3-point shooter in the corner
Screen & Roll
ISO, clear-out, one-on-one
To me its seems both repetitive and boring
The team with the best players wins the ISO/One-on-ones and wins the game
The college game to me seems to me more fluid
More variety of offense and defenses, More passing
When I watch Juwan's (or Beilein's) teams play offense and defense it is really beautiful
In college many teams have great PLAYERS and get beat by better "TEAMS" all the time.
Bottom line:
NBA offenses seem to be all about ISO and one-on-one basketball
College offenses are more about team play
To me, College is much more interesting to watch
Am I wrong?
