On Aubrey's decusdec and all attrition.

First, I wish Aubrey well! After all, this is only football we are talking about and if he is not comfortable, then he has to do what he feels is in his best interest. He has to live with the outcome of his decision either way, bad or good, as we all do. I just hope he finds what he is looking for in his next stop and has a blessed future!

"Those who stay will be champions!" ..... That quote hasn't been accurate for some time now, but Michigan has to turn the tide soon. They really aren't far off! So, if these young men, like Aubrey, are not all in then it is better they seek what they are searching for elsewhere. Yes, it hurts to lose a young man who had so much upside and displayed flashes of that potential early on. However, stars are stars, and a lot of times that amounts to little if there is no heart in their pursuit of reaching their ceiling. Some blue chippers prove themselves while many others under achieve, and even more less thought of players surpass expectations.

I don't believe this is a new issue or generational phenomenon. I think the exposure to information like this these days makes it seem as such. There has always been attrition and will always be!

In summary, I hate to see Michigan lose a high ceiling player at a critical position as much as any avid fan. It makes your mind twist in all sorts of what ifs and what is going on inside! When you let your mind clear itself of that nonsense though you see clearly that this happens everywhere and it doesn't have to mean anything negative. It's not really any of our business as to their reason for transferring and we fans should simply respect that they are making a decision for THEIR future, and where THEIR hearts are leading them. If they don't want to be at Michigan then they should transfer to find a place they belong, and not be harrassed for doing so. Also, the coaching staff doesn't have to be automatically at fault. These man care about their players and work their asses off, but that doesn't always get through to their players in the end. Michigan will be Michigan regardless of Aubrey Solomon is there or not, or any other player for that matter.

So good luck to Aubrey in his future once again and Go Blue to "Those Who Stay" and the Michigan faithful!
