1) I think the key to Davis' signing is MAAR. I am guessing that Coach B feels like Maar can be a solid combo guard that can provide quality minutes at the point and the two. We are set up to have solid wing play for the foreseeable future with Dawkins, two more years of Irvin and the ability for a guy like Duncan Robinson or Wagner to play some 3. Same with the bigs especially now with two C in 2016 plus Doyle and Wilson.
2) We must be planning to modify our offense to play two bigs a bit more. I for one would welcome that, despite the success, never liked the small ball and thought it got exposed in some of our big games at times. Especially against physical teams with big 4s (Louisville, Ohio U, Wisconsin, MSU)
This would put big time pressure to secure a quality point in 2016 though!
