Just finished a round of golf with my Son in Law. His length is almost laughable. I've always hit the ball further than most golfers. Both driver and Irons. So I've been use to people committing on my length and wondering how I hit that far. However, this kid is in another sphere of that ability.
The first time I knew something was very different was on a par 4. I hit a drive about 250 with little to no roll. It wasn't my best, but considering no roll, it was ok. This kid was near me about the same distance. However, he hit an iron. So I'm thinking he probably hit a 3 iron, nope 6 iron!
Fast forward to today, he hit at least 4 drives 310 or more with little to no roll. Very wet fairways.
We were playing the tips so it was a spectacle.
One par 3 was 145 to pin, I hit a strong 9 iron pin high. He hits short of the pin about 10 yards, not catching it in the sweet spot. I ask what did you hit? "My 52 degree wedge! Krazy stuff
