The ongoing talk surrounding Harbaugh over the last year + has been his inability to recruit his prototype quarterback. And that prototype quarterback that I pictured and most media members pictured was Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck was the QB that put Harbaugh on the map as a Head Coach. The guy on Michigan's roster who received Luck comparisons was Brandon Peters. I viewed Shea as a guy that fell in their lap and not a part of a bigger strategy.
As I'm seeing the read option become more a part of this Michigan offense and I see Shea having success w/ it....then Dylan...then Milton (no sign of Brandon Peters), I realize he's not looking for the next Andrew Luck. He's looking for the next Colin Kaepernick. He's evolved. He's not trying to recreate Stanford.
