Was certainly interesting. Today is the official one-year anniversary on my profile, but the Sept. 28 game against Rutgers was my first day of work. I joined a few weeks into the football season. Then basketball season was obviously cut short. And now football season is starting late and has been shortened. Not exactly ideal.
Nonetheless, it's been awesome. Not only has it been a dream to work in the industry and specifically in the Michigan market, but it's been a dream to work at The Wolverine, having been a member since the dark Rich Rod days and growing up with The Fort. As I've mentioned before, I actually applied to be an intern here before I even got to college, had an interview and got turned down due to being wildly unqualified at that point. Funny how things work out.
Wanted to give a big THANK YOU to the Michigan fans here and The Fort Family. Not only do we get to discuss Michigan Athletics and sports as a whole, but there's also so many amazing examples of the way the group here positively impacts peoples' lives when they need it most. What a community we have.
