are getting in CFP. Their theory is that

A) UM fans and OSU fans are being held hostage for improved ratings of these ranking shows and ultimately the selection show by artificially keeping them ranked high.

B) in the end, the committee won't have the balls to keep close to equal conference champs out. This they believe playoffs will be Bama, big ten champ, PAC 12 champ, Clemson if they win, if Clemson loses dinner of bedlam.

Interesting theories

There were Sparties thinking they'd go undefeated this year. You know, re-load. How did that work out?

Go BLUE. Always.

I don't spend much time worrying what the moral victory leaders think about things.

They are in an all out panic that UM is going to get in. In some ways, it might be name recognition, ratings, etc. which eats at them more than whether we are really deserving or not. I almost hope we get in just for the sake of reading the major meltdowns of MSU and PSU fans.

They probably realize that it's their own team's fault that conference championships no longer matter. MSU gets in last year luckily and then gets destroyed. And the ratings were ruined by Sparty being there in the first place.

I think you're nuts...haven't heard that at all and I work in Lansing w/ loads of Sparties. Most of the ones I've talked with, don't think that's it is right for a Conference Champ to be left out. TBH, if we weren't in the running, I'd feel the same way, it sucks to hear all the yap that 'Bama is still in whether they lose. I don't care what they've done. This is a new year and a new team, if 8-3 UF wins, Saban and his cronies better work harder next year then.

I'm greedy and feel we're one of the top 5 teams in the country but to be honest, I would have been a hugely happy man if we had beaten OSU, win in Saturday's B1G Championship and then proceed to Pasadena and win that too.

I hope we get in, we need someone to lose and I'm still not convinced they'd put us in...too many Harbaugh Haters out there.

I would bet the house that Alabama is in no matter how the SEC championship goes.
This is the team that got to the NC game without even winning their division, remember.

Oh, I agree, they'd beat the Patriots or the Broncos, given the chance!
Let's see though,
#1 'Bama 12-0 vs #15 UF 8-3
#2 OSU 11-1...idle and a shoe-in?
#3 Clemson 11-1 vs. #19/23 Va Tech 9-3
#4 Washington 11-1 vs. #8/9 Colorado 10-2
#5 Michigan 10-2...idle and praying!
#6 Wisconsin 10-2 vs #7/8 PSU 10-2

#1 and #3 play much lower ranked teams, 'Bama gets the guarantee, Clemson obviously has to win as do the others, OSU, Clemson and U-M (2) lose very close games. Washington by 13 IIRC, both of UW was by a TD and PSU got belted by 39 and lost to a 8-4 Pitt. Get rid of the "love" for 'Bama, this is a new year, new team...beat UF, earn it.

Washington has to lose tonight because if they win even by one point then they will NOT leave a 12-1 PAC 12 champ out of it for political reasons and the Huskies have played NO ONE!!!!!!!!!! Clemson will kick the shit out of VT tomorrow night. Guaranteed. Does not matter who wins the Big 10 game tomorrow night. The two best teams are at home watching. Neither on of them will jump Michigan is the Huskies lose. No way. If Washington makes it then they will get crushed by Alabama in the first round. Playing the Tide is a bit different than playing WSU in the Apple Cup.

Except UM isn't 11-1, they are 10-2 so PSU is 11-2, 8-1 in Division and Big Ten Champ. You are forgetting that Pitt beat Clemson. Transitive properties don't apply.

Sorry, made a mistake w/ record, will fix. I knew PSU lost to Pitt in a close game...we handled PSU rather easily, 49-10.

Hey are you excited to see all of the league's Big Dogs win big bowl games this year, while little brother is 3-9? Must suck being so irrelevant so quickly again.
