Sophmore Brienne Minor will try today to become the first ever Wolverine to win the NCAA Women's Tennis Singles Championship, out of an original field of the top 64 players in the country.
It'll be a tough matchup, as she's playing the #6 seed in the tournament (Minor spent all year in the mid-20's), but she has been on fire all week. Minor showed a ton of mental toughness yesterday, coming back after losing a first set tie-break. This included an absolutely dominant 6-0 3rd set win to clinch the victory.
