We've put a lot of thought into Michigan's coaches going out and seeing prospects close to their homes, but plenty are still planning to make their way to Michigan, as well. That includes a large contingent from Coconut Creek (Fla.) High:
Victor held an offer from the previous Michigan staff, and hasn't spoken much to the new staff, but is still a Rivals250 prospect who maybe the coaches will want to get re-involved with if they see him in person at Sound Mind, Sound Body. Two teammates (Malek Young, a Georgia commit who is in a similar situation with an offer from the old staff, Trayvon Mullen, the highest-ranked of the bunch who was offered by the Harbaugh staff) are on the radar as well, and the program is consistently putting out talent in recent years.
Another possible positive? They're making the trip with Elite Talent Football trainer Derrick Tatum, who is based out of Georgia and has brought offered 2017 DBs Jamyest Williams and Isaiah Pryor (Lawrenceville Archer) and 2016 WR Korey Bolds (Tyrone Sandy Creek) up from the Atlanta area. That group camped at SMSB last year... and stuck around for the Michigan camp to start the following week.
I wouldn't be surprised to see the plan play out in a similar manner this year.
