My God quit whining across the Michigan fan base. WE WON!!!! We are 8-0, ranked #2, and are sitting in a great position right now. Who cares if it was not 100-0. Michigan State was not going to lay down and especially at home. Michigan is the better program now and will be in the future because of Jim Harbaugh and recruiting. It's over now-move on and think about Maryland!!!!!!!!!!!! Michigan has a monumental task before them and much stiffer than Alabama, Clemson, or Washington who are almost practically guaranteed a playoff spot now unless Bama falls at Auburn and that is unlikely to happen. Clemson has NO ONE left and neither does Washington. Michigan, however, has a HUGE task before them. Maryland coming up (decent team) Iowa at night AT IOWA (will be very tough) Indiana ( who is a pain in the ass) and then the daunting task of facing the Buckeyes in Columbus!!!! Then, if we manage to finish undefeated-will have to play Wisconsin once again which really sucks because they are good. If we finish that gauntlet undefeated then we deserve a playoff spot and will be fully prepared to play the teams mentioned earlier that have an easier road there. In my opinion, Clemson is better than Alabama right now. Watson is the best QB in the nation and their defense is excellent. The SEC is not very good this year and Bama is playing with a Freshman QB. They can be beat. Washington is good but playing in the God awful Pac 10 this year and it sucks. Michigan has by far the hardest road to travel. Harbaugh was hired to bring a collapsing college football program back to life and he has. Enjoy it. Just like Saban did in Tuscaloosa. Bama fans will have a hear attack when he retires and it is rumored to be possibly after this year. Enjoy it in the moment along with the defeated look on Dicktonio the (Tressel disciple) face yesterday. He talked shit for 8 years and now he can't anymore. Drink a beer on behalf of that look yesterday!! his program LOST another game making it 6 in a row. Michigan would never do that under Harbaugh. Hell, not even Rich Rod or Hoke either when they were there. 6 in a row!!!!!

Not whining SC. We are not ballplayers, we are fans. Therefore we have the luxury of discussing postgame the action that we witnessed. From Monday morning QB'ing to talking hypotheticals. The players MUST move on but us fans can dwell on the past without penalty or repercussions.

To a man (or woman), with the scoreboard reading 30-10 early in the 4th you weren't disappointed that we went 3 plays, 6 plays & 3 plays & out in the 4th and we allowed MSU to move pretty much at will? I just expected a little more from an "elite" defense. Plus a 37-10/40-10 or 17 just looks a bit tastier at the end of the day.
Also, anybody notice the D-line rotation? I thought it seemed like we didn't do the wholesale changes like we normally do regularly. Maybe I just missed it.

OK, you have your opinion. I just want to hear what you say if we make the playoffs and get blown out like Sparty did last year. I love our team, but we definitely can't afford to take the foot off of the gas.... against anyone. Our ranking is... inflated a bit. JMO.

I'd say that A&M's schedule is pretty suspect too, AND they have a loss.

Michigan will beat Ohio State this year. The trap game will be the night game in Iowa and especially if the Hawkeyes lose to PSU tonight. Iowa has always been a tough place to play for Michigan. They almost beat us in 1997 too. If Michigan wins in Iowa then I predict that we beat OSU in Columbus this year and go on to beat Wisconsin again for the Big 10 championship. Playing someone twice and beating them twice is very difficult, however, Harbaugh and about 90% of his staff have been NFL coaches where they play teams twice a year so they will know exactly how to prepare for such a game. Michigan and Alabama are the best teams in the country right now.
