The #16 women's team will be taking on #15 Northwestern at 4:00 central today on ESPN 2.
I strongly believe that NW is overrated and Michigan is the better team, but Michigan only had 8 players available for their last game due to Covid (don't know if any others will return today), and NW is coming off a bad loss and will likely be highly motivated. Game could go either way, but a win is a huge step forward for Michigan trying to win their first conference title in program history.
Key to the game: NW has very little size (and the size they do have is a couple of freshman) and Michigan loves to hit the offensive glass. If Michigan completely controls the boards, they should be in good shape regardless of what else happens.
