...that's what ALL of the media was saying after that game. Michigan had just moved to two games above .500 in conference with two games to play. They had three top 25 wins on their resume and about 6 wins in the 51-100. What happened? Michigan lost on the road to Ohio State, then suffered a Senior Day home loss to Indiana (in what was effectively a "winner in" game) and of course inexplicably lost to Minnesota (a team they swept earlier in the year) in the Big Ten Tournament. Combine all those games along with some shady mid major conference commissioners pushing to get an extra bid for their league and Michigan was not in Selection Sunday.

Michigan is in a very similar position today as that team was after Daniel Horton's 39 point heroics. And it will take a very similar type of ineptitude in the next three games along with items outside of Michigan's control to not reach the NCAA.

I cannot place Michigan in the lock column for the field of 68 quite yet because I have seen a heartbreaking scenario take place in the past. With that being said, a lot has to happen to not reach the NCAA at this point.
