Is there a legitimate curse, or do we have too many rivals that hate us?
1. I am tired of seeing OSU have only one down year (2011), and be a monster for over a decade. Regardless of whether Tressel paid players or got them cars, OSU has been very good, year in and out since early 2000s. I hate them and I am tired of it! There is no rivalry with them anymore in terms of performance, they have owned our a$$ and its miserable!
2. MSU, with only 2 and 3 star recruits, outplays us, for pretty much the better part of a decade, and have a pretty good run of BIG titles. They also beat OSU in that span!
3. PSU, who lost half their class and roster, all of a sudden turn into a very good team!
So my questions are this. Did Hoke and RR really bring down the program as far as we thought, or is there something else at play here?
Is UM truly a 10 win program, is that our ceiling? Hoke did good with RR seniors, Harbaugh did good with Hoke's seniors etc. Why can we not consistently develop players? (AKA MSU, OSU and now PSU etc?)
I get this year is kind of a perfect storm, but I want to see that pattern broke! I don't want us to be really good every three years and then shitty the other 2 years. We need to consistently be good, and be really good with our seniors! I am hoping this year is an anomaly and its simply too much with the injuries and young players!
