Since there seemed to be a good amount of interest from the season previews I wrote, I figured I'd provide a weekly recap of how the non-revenue sports are doing for Michigan this Fall. Enjoy.

Not a whole lot to recap yet, as only 1 team has their season underway. The women's soccer team got the season off to a good start though, winning both of their games to go to 2-0. On Friday they beat Washington 2-0, and today they beat Idaho St. by a score of 4-0. Neither win tells us a whole lot. Washington is supposed to be a pretty average Pac-12 team, and Idaho St. is, well, Idaho St. Still a solid start to the season so far. Probably not enough to start getting top 25 votes, but with 2 games against top 15 teams coming up in a couple of weeks, that opportunity will be there.

Notable Stuff From First Weekend:
- Counting the 2 exhibition games, Junior Taylor Timko now has 8 goals in 4 games. Seems she has recovered from her ACL tear that caused her to miss all of last season.
- Right now, Michigan is still rotating all 3 goalies
- Looks like Sura Yekka has been moved from defense to midfield.
- 2 freshmen, Sara Stratigakis and Alia Martin, scored their first career goals this weekend.

And even though they don't count for anything, the field hockey and men's soccer team took care of business in their exhibition games this weekend, shutting out MSU and Wisc.-Green Bay respectively.

Next week things will pick up, with men's soccer, field hockey and volleyball all starting their seasons.
