I think M wore the matte helmets once while DB was was the AD. That was against tosu I think.
Now mind you, I go back to the mid sixties (as a young lad) and saw the darker maize vs. the current bright yellow. I like both but prefer the older maize color and a more flat finish for our helmets.
So, I have to say I liked the look of the matte helmets a lot and would prefer them.
What say you?
