First, playing on Dec 29th at noon as just another bowl game vs Florida is not nearly as attractive as playing a undefeated UCF team on New Years Day! For all you naysayers that say you wouldn't want to play UCF because beating UCF earns Michigan no glory I say you are wrong! UCF has the nations longest current winning streak of 25 games.
Michigan's 10-2 record earned the right to play on New Years Day and that is the best day for watching bowl games. 8-4 Iowa and 9-3 Penn St are playing on New Years Day.
The best bowl games are supposed to be played on Jan 1st. I was really hoping Michigan would get to play in the Rose Bowl. OK, I'm done ranting now and venting my frustrations. Who agrees with me?
