Michigan Basketball VS Indiana

Beilein's game has always been running up and down the floor launching 3's and playing little defense. We could have beaten Indiana if we would have set up an offense and played the clock today. I like Beilein and he has been good for Michigan but we will never be elite in basketball to win a national championship with his game schemes. They were so close a few years back because they were loaded with players and I thought they would get top recruits after that but they have not which is surprising.

Um, Michigan won today.

And they came very damn close to winning it all three years ago. Lost to a cheating program, but came close.

I have First Four tickets in Dayton, Ohio for next Tuesday. The odds of me seeing at least one of Cincinnati or Michigan just increased exponentially.

(Cincinnati would be well-served to beat UConn here this afternoon, or else it may be NIT for them).

I thought UM was going to turn the game over with the TO's but the effort was clearly there. Nice to see Wagner and Chatman on the floor at the same time.

UM is going to need Wagner and Chatman to contribute going forward and that is why they won today. They were the difference which is needed to beat better teams.
