Here are my thoughts about Michigan's basketball roster heading into their last ten regular season games of this season.
1. Hunter Dickinson: Hit a plateau last year, but still can be dominant at times. UM’s best player.
2. Jett Howard: Has all the moves offensively with long range on his shot. Excellent scorer in bunches. Disappears for too long in stretches but he’s young.
3. Kobe Bufkin: Has shown nice overall improvement from last year. Could develop into the top option on offense in the years ahead.
4. Dug McDaniel: About what you would expect for a freshman point guard. Shows nice promise.
5. TWII: Best suited coming off the bench for a tournament team. Not consistent enough offense. Sometimes it looks like he’s coming on but than fades.
6. Tarris Reed Jr.: See McDaniel. Nice upside.
7. Joey Baker: Makes 2-3 buckets every other game. The shot looks good. He’s got to knock more down.
8. Will Tschetter: Looks decent when he’s in there. Not sure why he can’t get more minutes. Coaches must not see it from him in practice.
9. Isaiah Barnes: Haven’t seen much from the redshirt freshman. Looked overwhelmed against Purdue.
10. Youssef Khayat: Yo-yo’s been injured but wasn’t playing at all when he was healthy.
11. Jace Howard: Great enthusiasm & support from the bench over the years. Depth player who’s only been getting spot duty.
12. Greg Glenn III: Hasn’t played in any meaningful spots as a true freshman
