Why don't we spend much $ on bball recruiting? Do JB and co not travel as much? Or do they just insist on traveling the cheapest way possible. UM ranks 5th out of the 12 in the B10 in terms of spending over the last 5 years. They spent around 900 K during that period. Kansas spent over 2 MM. During the 2012-2013 cycle they spent 165 K on recruiting. IU spent 420K. OSU 375K. Nebraska 323 K. So obviously spending the most $ doesn't always mean recruiting results. I just found it interesting that UM is middle of the pack in the B10 when they have the largest or 2nd largest athletic budget.
