I'm in the camp that Meyer retiring at the end of the year was all part of this elaborate plan in the deliberations at the beginning of the year. If you remember just how long it took for them to make a decision to come up with a 3 game suspension. I wouldn't be shocked for one minute if they wanted to fire him but knew that would make them look even worse at the time. So, they hatched this plan that they'd give him a suspension to show they cared a little. Then told him that you have to come up with a reason to retire at the end of the season...hence the sudden head aches and health issues he's been "dealing" with for the last 2 years.
I don't doubt that he has a cyst and it is causing some pain, although I wouldn't be shocked if it is embellished or even made up. It is just weird timing that after dealing with this health issue for years it rears its ugly head this season. Just doesn't add up or maybe it is just really coincidental?!?
