Players to watch:
Braeden West - HB
Patrick Nelson - S
Prediction:
This may very well be the worst team we have played under Harbaugh. Their lines are undersized on both sides and overall the team is underwhelming at every position and in every aspect of the game. The running back, West is probably the only player that is objectively good. Their safeties are by far their leading tacklers which isn't a good sign.
Michigan's offense will gash them on the ground at will and will have an easy going through the air when they decide to go that route. The defense will have to be caught off guard on a number of plays for SMU to even get into scoring position and I don't see them scoring unless it's off a turnover or in garbage time. I'm doing something I think I've only done once previously in the 28 of these threads I've made and that's predicting a shutout.
Michigan wins 55-0
This years predictions:
Week 1: Michigan/Notre Dame 24-13 (17-24 actual)
Week 2: Michigan/Western Michigan 48-10 (49-3 actual)
